This or That Beauty Tag : Part 2

Finally, after soooo long, Here’s the second installment of the This or That Beauty Tag. Its been so long since I did the first part but if you haven’t read it yet you can click here.

1) Lotion or Body Butter?
I have never had a Body Butter but I would love to. I’ve just always picked a bottle of body lotion or body puree over a body butter in the same scent. It could be because I lived in a very humid place so never needed much moisture but I can see my skin feeling the need for Body Butter now.

2) Perfume or Body Spray?
Both! It would be inhuman to ask a girl to choose.

3) Body Wash or Soap?
Body Wash. Definitely. You just can’t get the same amazing feeling of bubbles and softness with a Soap. And I love loofahs and loofahs can’t be used with a Soap.

4) Lush or other bath company?
I really wouldn’t mind any company as long as the product smells wonderful and works well with my skin. I do love LUSH but I love other companies too.

5) Tan or no Tan?
No Tan. Never had a fake Tan. Never desired to sit on the beach and burn to a crisp. Hahaha.

6)    Curly or Straight?
Curly. As a little kid I loved straight hair and straightened mine every opportunity I had but as I grew up I kind of just switched my love to Curly/wavy hair. I realized that I have beautiful natural waves and wouldn’t want to ruin them with a straightening iron anymore.

7)    Ponytail or Bun?
As much as I love buns I don’t think they flatter my face shape so ponytails it is.

8)    Hair Grips (bobby pins) or Butterfly Clips?
Bobby pins are way too cute and convenient.

9)    Hairspray or Gel?
None. But I guess if I really needed something it would be Hairspray.

10)                   Long or Short?
How about Medium?

11)                   Blonde or Brunette?
They’re both lovely but I’m partial to Red Hair.

12)                   Side Swept bangs or Full?
Either. Whatever looks good.

13)                   Up or Down?
        Down

14)                   Jeans or sweatpants?
        Jeans.

15)                   Long Sleeve or short?
      Short

16)                   Dresses or Skirts?
Dresses. I do like skirts but I don’t like the fuss of pairing them with a good top. Dresses are easy, classy, feminine and beautiful.

17)                   Stripes or Plaid/Tartan?
Depends on the color.

18)                   Flip Flops or Sandals?
I’ve lived 99% of my life in Flip Flops and Flats. But now I’m making an effort to start using more sandals. My answer shall be sandals. (I still love flip flops and their comfort and bright colors).

19)                   Necklaces or Bracelets?
Necklaces. No doubt about it.

10 ) Heels or Flats?
Heels. They make me cry and they make my feet hurt so much but I just can’t resist them.

21)                   Jackets or Hoodies?
Jackets because they’re most trendy. Besides, I have way too many Hoodies so it’s time to go Jacket-Shopping.

22)                   Rain or Shine?
       Rain

23)                   Summer or Winter?
Although I love summer trends and makeup and everything…I hate summer weather. So I choose Winter.

24)                   Fall/Autumn or Spring?
      Both
25)                   Favourite Ice Cream Flavour?
Tender Coconut/Lychee/Chocolate chip

Easy Fall EOTD : Fall In Love With Fall

This is probably the easiest Fall eye makeup look you'll come across. do you know why I'm so sure? Because I know that I'm lazy when it comes to putting on makeup early in the morning while I'm in a hurry. I used my Revlon Illuminance Creme Eyeshadow Quad ( Review ) for this look and I didn't even use all the colors. You can use any other creme eyeshadow or powder eyeshadow that's the same color. I just used this one because I love how easy and fast cream eyeshadows can be.

1. Start with a clean eyelid that has been moisturized and prep with an eye primer.

2. I started by using the lightest color in the palette which is a shimmery pinkish-silver. It is a highlight color but I used it all over the lid. You could use any silver shade with pink tones.

3. I was never a huge fan of the darkest color of this palette but recently it's been such a convenience because it can take a look from zero to glam in seconds! I used this dark purpley-brown shade on the outer corners and crease.and blended it into the first light color.

4. You could end the look at step 3 but if you want to go for a more dramatic look layer on the dark color. Then I added a bit of NARS Albatross( Review coming soon!) to highlight the middle portion of the lid. This step just makes the look more dramatic and sultry like a purpley-brown smoky eye (if that exists).

5. Finish up by blending well, curling the lashes and some nice mascara. I've used the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara ( Review ).

Add some blush and a tiny bit of bronzer(optional). I didn't used any lipstick and just used a lip balm from the body shop because I didn't want to distract from the eye look.

PS: Do you notice how you can only see half my face in all the pictures? I put makeup on only one half of my face because I thought of doing a before and after shot. The idea got messed up! Hahaha So I apologize for all the awkward half-face pictures.

I hope you liked this look and if you try it, send me a picture on Twitter or Facebook. Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and gfc if you want to read more of these posts.

The Bath & Body Products Wishlist

Have you ever felt yourself walking involuntarily towards a The Body Shop, Loccitane or Crabtree and Evelyn store? Then, just by reading the fancy names of the flowers fruits and herbs that fragrance those luxurious moisturizers and hand creams your heart flutters? You try some of the body purees, body butters or body mists and instantly feel the urge...no....NEED to buy them all! Don't worry...if you have that experience, you're not alone. And this Body Products Wishlist is going to make you feel just like that. Let's get into it then

1. Nip + Fab's Pistachio Sundae body butter : pistachio flavors have suddenly started alluring me. Once I read about this body butter on Fleurdeforce I knew I need to get it. Unfortunately being in India just makes it harder to find unique products like this one.

2. Mor Lychee Flower Hand Cream : doesn't the packaging make you feel like Royalty? And the fact that I love lychees just makes this hand cream more desirable.

3. Avon Bubble Bath : it's a cute bottle and is available in lovely fruity scents. Bubbles just make you feel like a child again so how can you go wrong with a product that has bubbles?

4. Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Sun Defence for Face with SPF 50 : On my face sunscreens usually decide to change their purpose from sun Defence to causing pimples and irritated skin. But SPF is still pretty essential so I hope this Elizabeth Arden one can work some miracles for my skin

5.  The Caribbean Collection Coconut And Lime Body Lotion : I have the body mist and exfoliating shower gel from this collection and as soon as I started using them I regretted not buying the body lotion as well because now it just seems to be out of stock. It is an undeniably coconuty scent but the little zesty kick of lime makes it unique. Obsessed is the word.

6. The body shop's Chocomania Body Butter/Body Lotion : I HATE the cocoa butter Body Butter they have so I didn't expect much from the Chocomania Body Butter either. But then I tested it at the store and fell in love with it. So much so that I actually had a dream about it! I bought the Chocomania Lip Butter which smells as well as tastes divine! However, be warned that the Chocomania Deluxe Edition Body Butter is very different from the original one. I found the scent of the Deluxe Edition one too overwhelming so I don't recommend it.
7. Elemis Spa @ Home Frangipani Monoi Salt Glow : This is the third product in my Wishlist that I have heard of from Fleurdeforce. I guess her writing style really inspires me and so do her beauty product picks. This is a pretty pricey, extravagant and indulgent product so I would think quite a few times before splurging on it if it weren't for the review Fleur did about it.

8. Philosophy's Melon Daiquiri shampoo, bath and shower gel (for summer) / Philosophy's Ooey Gooey Cookie shampoo, bath and shower gel (for winter) : very specific isn't it? :p But if you're like me you would understand why I would need to be that specific. The kind of fragrances and products I like and use changes according to seasons. Melon Daiquiri sounds fresh and fruity like a summer product ought to be whereas Ooey Gooey Cookie sounds like a sweet and warm fragrance that would surround you like a fluffy blanket in the winter. Tempting.
9. Lush Fresh Farmacy : Hello my friends with oily skin that is so prone to acne and spots because of all the oil! This bar of soap from lush claims to be our savior! Reviews say that Fresh Farmacy can banish acne and spots with just one wash. Sounds like magic....did Professor Snape pour in some magical potion into Fresh Farmacy? I guess I'll just have to use it to find out.
Well that's all for now. Lets see how many products I can tick off this list. If you've tried any of these products or if you have any recommendations for me, let me know in the comments below.
