About Harringtons Pet Food :"With our history in manufacturing, we think we understand the importance of giving your pets the best possible food, using quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, and free from artificial colours and flavours.
We have therefore focused on values which are reflected in the production of Harringtons:
• No compromise on quality or ingredients used.
• No wastage associated with 'big company' cost structure.
• No expensive, unnecessary packaging.
• Good honest Yorkshire value.
Harringtons does not carry out, approve or fund invasive animal testing. We may from time to time carry out palatability testing to assist in the development of new products. This is simply to check that they enjoy the taste of our new product. The pets we use mainly belong to our directors, staff and customers and they remain in their normal home environment whilst tasting our food for us."
If you follow me on instagram you're definitely aware that I have an adorable little cat. Recently, the people over at Harringtons Pet Food noticed my cat and sent over a packet of their Natural Cat Food in the Chicken with Rice flavor for the lucky little feline to taste and review. While I still believe that he's really smart and has learned to (or at least tries to) imitate human activities, he is yet to learn how to use this laptop. So while he's still in the process of mastering this device, I have taken over the responsibility of reviewing his food and typing his thoughts.
When he first saw the packet he was quite eager to try the food. I'm guessing he could smell the food through the packaging (can cats do that? I'm not sure but my cat tends to find properly packaged cat food and rip open the packets too). Surprisingly, he got sick the next day and I was worried it may have been this cat food. A few days later he had the Harringtons Cat Food again and he's been eating it since that day but hasn't fallen sick again so I'm pretty sure it was something else he ate or just him feeling a little under the weather. In fact I think the food has been really good for his health and weight.
He seems to love the food since he licks the bowl clean within minutes of refilling it. It's kind of sad since Harringtons Cat Food is available only in Europe and they made an exception and sent over a package to me from UK. However, I won't be able to get hold of this food for him again until I visit UK. For those of you that live within Europe (especially within UK) this cat food would be very easy to find. After observing how much my cat loves it I would definitely recommend you to go get it for yours!
